Economic Development Priorities

The community and VCDC continue to examine ways to meet the needs of the region through economic and community efforts.

Priorities for the community include meeting the housing challenges, expanding infrastructure including new areas for water development on Highway 52 and Main Street revitalization.

VCDC and the City took steps to improve Main by purchasing a removing a nonfunctional building in 2010. They will look at future buildings as they come available, either for renovation or removal.
