CITY WIDE CLEAN UP!

The City of Velva's City Wide Clean-up Week will be held June 9-15.
Instructions:
During regular business hours, Monday – Thursday from 7am to 5pm, please stop into City Hall for the key. (The roll-offs will be located inside the gate of the future fire hall or old lumberyard at 12 – 1st Ave W). **After regular business hours there will be attendees at the roll-offs on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 5pm to 7pm and Friday & Saturday from 12pm to 2pm.
ACCEPTABLE ITEMS: furniture – dressers, mattress/box springs, couch, table, chairs; electronics – tvs, small appliances, computer screens; other-carpet & wood scraps, etc.
UNACCEPTABLE ITEMS: dirt, rocks, bricks, concrete, cinder blocks, stove/oven, dryer, dishwasher, propane tanks, oil, tires, ashes, chemicals, vehicles batteries, refrigerators, water heaters, furnace, wet paint, trees, tree stumps, hot tubs, animal waste, railroad ties, washer, water softener, deep freezers…
