Parks and Recreation

The Velva park board oversees the public swimming pool, local park and adjacent campground.  The elected board members are Mike Heisler, Julie Anderson, Rick Erickson, Tyler Ystass and Quinn Long.  Claudie Selzler is treasurer.  Meetings are held the first Monday of the month at 7:00 pm at Velva City Hall.  Any changes to meeting dates or location will be posted on the City Hall door.     

Pool hours:  

Open Swim: 1:00pm-5:00pm   
Family Swim:  6:00pm-7:00pm 
Lap Swim:  Mon-Fri 11:00am-12pm

Season Pass:  Family:  $175.00    Single:  $75.00

Daily Pass:  6 years & Under:  Free        7years and Up: $5.00

If you would like to reserve the kitchen at the park, contact Claudie Selzler. Rental fee $40.00.

Campground Fees:  $25.00 per night - $125.00per week - $500.00monthly - $20.00 tent fee
